This week is Stand Up and Anti Bullying Week in Ardgillan College. We will be joining schools around Ireland in promoting LGBTQ+ awareness and taking a stand together against homophobia, transphobia and biphobia. Ardgillan is an open, caring, and diverse school community and this week will be a chance for us all to reflect on the Respect pillar of the school & to pay that respect forward.
There will be subject specific lessons on anti-bullying and LGBTQIA + awareness in CSPE, SPHE, RSE & Health Education. Alongside a range of school wide activities and initiatives.
