A Word from Roisín, Head Girl 2022/23

Hi Everyone,

My name is Róisín and I am really looking forward to taking on the role of Head Girl for 2022-2023. I feel really lucky to be chosen for this role and I appreciate what a privilege it is. I believe that every student in Ardgillan deserves a positive school experience and I hope as Head Girl to be able to assist in this in any way I can.

I think we can all agree that Ardgillan College, as well as providing a very high standard of education, also provides a space for students to participate in sports, art, music, cultural and other activities which make school life all the more enjoyable. It is in these activities, that the three pillars of Ardgillan, Teamwork, Respect and Excellence can be seen.

The last two years have been difficult for everyone but the positivity and resilience that the school community has shown towards each other is something that we can all be proud of. Now that we are back to a relative normality, I cannot wait to see what the next year brings.

I am really looking forward to working with Seanie, the deputies, the prefect coordinators, the prefects and the rest of the school community, and as we are about to enter this new school year I would like to wish everyone in our school a happy and positive experience!
