This week is College Awareness Week. We are running our college awareness week a little earlier than the national week to coincide with our Careers Fair, which is running this Thursday 13 October from 7-9pm. The Careers Fair, organised by our Parent Council, is a fabulous opportunity for senior students to speak with third level colleges and lots of different professionals. There will be lots of career advice on offer and it is a wonderful occasion for students to gather information and start to prepare for life after secondary education.
College Awareness Week
1st Years are being asked to write about their dream career in SPHE and have an accompanying worksheet which will be laminated and displayed.
2nd and 3rd Year students will receive a talk from our 6th years this week during one of their SPHE lessons.
TY, 5th and 6th will also be given a presentation during careers/tutor time.
