Message from the Principal,
Mr. Michael O’Leary 

Welcome to the Ardgillan Community College website.  I am really looking forward to co-operating with the parents and pupils to develop an excellent school.

The college provides a wide curriculum to meet the diverse needs of the students and will be multi-denominational and co-educational.
As Principal, my central mission is to promote a happy and caring school environment where students are encouraged and supported to reach their full potential. The emphasis is placed on quality teaching and learning, positive behaviour and the pursuit of standards of excellence in all areas of the school activities.

                              Ms. Hazel Hannon, Deputy Principal

Despite the hazardous weather conditions, I made my way from the Midlands to Ardgillan College on Thursday 23^rd December 2010. As I entered the front door, I was immediately enamoured by the warmness of the welcome that I received from staff and students alike. There was a genuine welcome and sincerity in the air.

I knew that I would feel at home here and as Mr. O Leary approached me smiling, I was assured that I had made the right decision.

Ardgillan College is a community where the values of: respect, teamwork and the pursuit of excellence are espoused. We are lucky to have teaching staff and indeed ancillary staff at Ardgillan that are vibrant, enthusiastic and energetic.

There is a fine mix of experience coupled with new ideas.

I look forward to working with the entire school community and furthering our commitment to excellence
